By participating in the NCAA Nerd-Off challenge ("the Challenge"), you hereby agree that all drafts, writings, descriptions, ideas, expressions, and other tangible or intangible products, of any nature whatsoever, submitted by you to the Nerd Council ("the Council") as part of the Challenge, whether recorded in written, electronic or other tangible medium of expression (collectively, the "Work"), shall become at the time of submission the sole property of the Council. We intend to publish all results on the website; however, your program code will not be released without permission.

The Council assumes the Work was completed with legal access to any software applications used.  Also, please keep bios and abstracts relatively clean, as we may deny those deemed inappropriate for publication. The Council reserves the right to disqualify entrants in the case of faulty programs, rule violations, or submissions not complying with the Spirit of the Competition. If any problems do arise, you will be contacted and the Council will attempt to remedy the situation (especially in the case of a non-functioning submission) before disqualifying entrants.

Under no circumstances will the Council be liable in any way for any content you have provided in the Work, including, but not limited to any errors or omissions in such content, or any loss or damage of any kind incurred as a result of the review and/or use of such content.
